Our Contracting team have a wide-ranging set of skills offering electrical services to our domestic, business, industrial and commercial clients, along with the power industry. Our team includes design and survey specialists, project managers, inspectors, electricians and line mechanics.
The Transmission team deliver integrated solutions for the power industry by providing transmission line and substation construction and maintenance services throughout New Zealand.
Consulting
We deliver market-leading electrical design and consulting services to customers across Australasia. The team combine a breadth of industry knowledge with a commitment to using the best available technology, to deliver impressive results and future-proofed projects.
Our team of over 80 staff is located across New Zealand. We are recognised as a thought leader and trusted partner in providing electrical design and specialist services to the power industry.
Westpower
Westpower Limited owns and operates the electricity distribution network on the West Coast of the South Island and the Amethyst Hydro Station in South Westland.
We take great pride in ensuring we build and maintain a network which will provide the reliable delivery of electricity to our business and domestic customers, whilst keeping our community safe.
Innovation
Our Technology team developed the PowerPilot system, including the award winning ConductorDown feature in 2020. This feature is a world first, solving a long-term industry issue. It identifies and eliminates high-voltage hazards from conductor down events on distribution networks.
The world-leading PowerPilot system, with a strong focus on network safety and reliability, asset management and control features, will lead electricity distribution networks through the electrification of the New Zealand economy in the decades to come. The product has been implemented at a number of distribution networks across New Zealand and market demand is encouraging as we continue to build a pipeline of orders.
