Waitaha Hydro application for concessions submitted

Tuesday, September 3, 2019

In July 2014, Westpower submitted an application for concessions from the Minister of Conservation to enable the proposed scheme to progress. On 28 August, a decision to decline the application was announced by David Parker, the Minister for the Environment. Westpower is considering its response to this decision.
